Reflections

The National PTA Reflections Art Contest encourages students to explore their creativity, express themselves, and share their unique perspectives through the arts. This year's theme, “What My Culture Means to Me,” invites students to celebrate their heritage, traditions, experiences, and identities through dance choreography, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts.

The program also includes an Accessible Arts Division, providing opportunities for students with disabilities to express their creativity and participate in the arts.

Fishweir Elementary students are invited to showcase their talents, with opportunities for selected entries to advance to county, state, and national recognition.

Important Deadlines

• November 10, 2026 – Fishweir Elementary Deadline: All student entries must be submitted to the Fishweir PTA for school-level judging.

• November 13, 2026 – Duval County PTA Deadline: Selected entries from Fishweir must be submitted to the Duval County Council PTA for county-level judging.

How to Submit an Entry

Families should complete the Fishweir PTA Reflections Entry Form, including the student's information, art category, artist statement, and parent/guardian permission.

Artwork may be submitted through one of the following methods:

• Digital Submission: Upload artwork through the entry form or email the file to reflections@fishweirpta.org.

• Physical Submission: Deliver eligible physical artwork to the Fishweir Elementary front office, clearly labeled with the student's name, grade, and “PTA Reflections.”

All entries and required forms must be received by November 10, 2026. The November 13 county deadline is for the PTA to advance selected entries, not for families to submit artwork.
